Vine ORCAのインストールですが、私のやり方は、まずワークステーション版で
ごくごく標準にインストールをします。

次に問題のsources.listですが

# Vine Linux 2.5 Updates
rpm http://updates.vinelinux.org/apt 2.5/$(ARCH) updates
rpm-src http://updates.vinelinux.org/apt 2.5/$(ARCH) updates

# Vine Linux 2.5 FTP
rpm ftp://ftp.jaist.ac.jp/os/linux/Vine/apt 2.5/$(ARCH) main plus plus-noarch
rpm-src ftp://ftp.jaist.ac.jp/os/linux/Vine/apt 2.5/$(ARCH) main plus

の様にコメントをはずし

rpm http://isweb42.infoseek.co.jp/computer/tgedoh/aptdata orca i386
rpm-src http://isweb42.infoseek.co.jp/computer/tgedoh/aptdata orca i386

を追加します。

次にVine2.5自身をアップデートします。
ルートになって
apt-get update
続けて
apt-get dist-upgrade
これで次回ログインするときはスムーズにログイン出来るようになると思います。

ここからVine-ORCAをインストールします。
スタンドアロンで使用する場合は
apt-get install task-orca-standalone
とします。

私の場合、インストールの途中で(apt-get install task-orca-standaloneで作
業中)1回では成功せず停止しました。
しかし、apt-get install task-orca-standalone --fix-missingをすると後は正
常に完了しました。

この状態でORCAは起動しました。

ただし、PCを再起動するとPostgresqlが自動起動しないため動作しなかった覚え
があります。そのときはchkconfig --add postgresとし、
chkconfig postgres onで自動起動します。Postgresqlが起動しているかどうか
はps -axで確認できますし、システムモニターでも確認は出来ます。

以上で問題なく動作しました。

参考になるかわかりませんがPCはASUS製マザーP2B-Nで自作したものとIBMの
Netvista?でも動作しましたのでたいていのPCで動作するものと思われます。

orca-techのあたりに経緯がありますので良かったらそちらも参照してみてくだ
さい。
