化石レスですが、ORCAインストールマニュアル記載順序について

と書きましたが、omoikane のORCAパッケージ orca-ogl と task-orca では
手順が異なるようです。 <= 当然ですね (^^);

ORCA 0.9.08 では以下のような流れでインストールできました。

$ apt-get install postgresql-contrib
$ vi /var/lib/postgres/data/pg_hba.conf
$ /etc/init.d/postgresql restart
$ apt-get install task-orca
---------------------------------------

パッケージpostgresql-contrib は task-orca の依存リストに含まれますが、
pg_hba.conf の書き換えとpostmasterの再起動が明示的に必要でしょうから、
task-orcaより先にinstallする方が良いのではないかと考えました。
task-orcaの後にpg_hba.confを再設定すると、postmasterが、途方もなく
重くなったことがあったもので ...

また

/etc/init.d/glauth start
/etc/init.d/glserver start
/etc/init.d/monitor start

については
パッケージorcaの設定スクリプトの最後の部分で実行されていましたので
コマンドラインから実行する必要はないようです。
